My Story!
Hi, I am Kameshwarya Gunasekaran
As the Founder & CEO of Igniting Minds Academy, I am devoted to cultivating Future-Ready Leaders. Recognizing the need to empower students with essential skills, my focus shifted towards Life Skills. However, I observed that direct emphasis on Life Skills was challenging due to the overwhelming nature of academic studies. In response, my commitment led me to simplify the learning process, ensuring that students not only excel academically but also seamlessly integrate vital Life Skills into their education.
Software Engineer to Entrepreneur
Passionate about computers, I initiated my career as a Software Engineer at HCL Technologies in the year 2011. After pursuing my career for 2 years, I had to discontinue my job due to personal commitments and spent two years at home, caring for my loved ones.
Igniting Minds Academy
When I decided to restart my career, I had to balance personal and professional aspects, opting for entrepreneurship by starting as a franchisee of Brainobrain Kids Academy in the year 2014. Inspired by the company’s values and guided by the mentorship of founders Mr. Anand Subramaniam and Mr. Arul Subramaniam, I rapidly scaled up my business within six years. Beginning with four students, it grew to accommodate 100 students every month, with a continual increase in graduates each year.
With the aim of offering enhanced value to children, I established Igniting Minds Academy in 2020. Since then, I have been conducting both online and offline programs, imparting life skills and study skills to children.

Recipient of the Best Franchise and Faculty Awards from Brainobrain, I persist in my journey with the organization, elevating children’s Brain and Life skills. Twice invited as the chief guest at my alma mater, Rajalakshmi Engineering College, delivering an entrepreneurial speech to my juniors stands out as a proud moment for me. Placed my name in Asia Book of records in the year 2021 as speaker at 555 club for Women Entrepreneurs.
MY JOURNEY
Recognizing the undue emphasis on academics, I envisioned a curriculum that would make learning enjoyable while boosting academic performance. Thus, the Study and Memory Mastery course emerged, aimed at reducing the academic burden on children and allowing them to focus on essential life skills. As the founder of Igniting Minds Academy, I am passionate about shaping young minds into future leaders through innovative and impactful education.
